Les artisans du *Batman Begins* sont de retour : **[Christian Bale](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-christian-bale/)** dans le rôle du Chevalier insomniaque, **[Michael Caine](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-michael-caine/)** (le majordome Alfred), **[Gary Oldman](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-gary-oldman/)** (lieutenant Gordon), **[Morgan Freeman](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-morgan-freeman/)** (Lucius Fox) et **[Christopher Nolan](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-christopher-nolan/)** (*[Memento](https://cinema.krinein.com/memento/)*) à la réalisation. Quant au scénario (basé sur une histoire de Christopher Nolan et David Goyer), c'est [Jonathan Nolan](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-jonathan-nolan/) qui en a la charge.

**Christopher Nolan** : « Je suis excité de poursuivre l'histoire que nous avons débuté avec *Batman Begins*. Notre défi dans notre recherche pour trouver le Joker était de dénicher un acteur qui n'était non seulement extraordinairement talentueux mais aussi audacieux. De regarder l'interprétation de Heath Ledger de ce personnage iconique affrontant Christian Bale dans la peau de Batman sera incroyable. »

Le tournage commencera au début de l'année prochaine. La sortie est prévue pour l'été 2008.
