Malgré son jeune âge (28 ans), il avait été très remarqué, notamment pour son rôle difficile de cowboy homosexuel dans *Le secret de Brokeback Mountain*. Il sera bientôt à l'affiche du prochain *[Batman](https://cinema.krinein.com/oc/7245-dark-knight-chevalier-noir/)*, dans le rôle du Joker.
