# Biographie de Liam Neeson

Repéré par John Boorman qui lui confie un petit rôle dans *Excalibur* (1981), 'Liam' Neeson enchaîne ensuite les seconds rôles à l'écran pendant près de 10 ans, avant de décrocher celui de personnage principal de *Darkman* (1990), réalisé par [Sam Raimi](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-sam-raimi/).

Par la suite, il tourne avec [Woody Allen](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-woody-allen/) (*Maris et femmes*), [Steven Spielberg](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-steven-spielberg/) (*La liste de Schindler, Lincoln*), [George Lucas](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-george-lucas/) (*Star Wars épisode I : La menace fantôme*), [Jodie Foster](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-jodie-foster/) (*Nell*), [Martin Scorsese](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-martin-scorsese/) (*Gangs of New York*) ou encore [Christopher Nolan](https://cinema.krinein.com/biographie-christopher-nolan/) (*Batman begins*).

Aux alentours de 2010, il reste un second rôle de poids (*Le monde de Narnia*, *Le choc des Titans*) et une tête d'affiche rentable (*Taken*, *L'agence tous risques*).
